Beddington In Vessel Composting

The Beddington Farmlands in vessel composting system is owned and operated by Viridor (formerly Thames Waste Management). The plant was part funded through a partnership bid between London Borough of Croydon, London Borough of Merton and Thames Waste Management from London Recycling Fund. [Download full case study]

UK CEED set out in 2005 to develop a pioneering new research and demonstration facility, Ecotrade Centre, for the recycling of construction, demolition, refurbishment (CD&R) and commercial waste. Wales Environment Trust - Biofuels use at Live Earth Concert

Bio Tech Oils UK powered the sound and lighting for the concert featuring Madonna, Genesis and Duran Duran, organised by former US Vice-President Al Gore. 15,000 litres of Welsh bio-diesel was used to power the Wembley Stadium concert. [Download full case study]
