Network on the Lookout for New Members
18/08/2008
The ReMaDe Network UK is on the look out for new members. At what is an increasingly exciting and opportunistic time in the sphere of recycling, the Network continues to position itself as a leading forum for recyclables market development. Covering the whole of the UK, the Network currently has 15 member organisations that benefit from the information exchange and partnership development initiated by the Network.
Now in its eighth year, the ReMaDe Network is on the lookout for new member organisations and is holding an open meeting for prospective organisations and individuals later this year. The meeting, to be held in Glasgow on October 1st and 2nd, will include programmes from the Network’s Procurement and Organics Special Interest Groups as well as presentations from some of the leading lights of Scotland’s waste management industry. In addition, there will be opportunities to exchange ideas with representatives of member organisations such as Resource Efficiency Yorkshire, ReMaDe South East, Enviros and Remade Scotland.
A number of the Network’s members have over 10 years experience in the discipline, predating most national organisations. The Network is hoping new members will add to the history of innovation and success that has been achieved, by bringing their own areas of expertise. Prospective members will be identified as sharing members’ values towards the promotion of markets for recycled materials in the UK.
For further information and to book your place at the meeting, contact James Horne, RNUK Co-ordinator on 01274 699406 or at admin@remadenetwork.org.uk. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
