Glasgow meeting 'huge success'
17/10/2008The RNUK members meeting held in Glasgow recently has been hailed 'a huge success' by attendees. There were some excellent presentations sparking debate that lasted long into the evening. Members also took the opportunity to catch up with each other as well as making new contacts.
Glasgow Agenda Announced
01/09/2008The agenda for the next RNUK members' meeting, to be held in Glasgow on the 1st & 2nd October, has been announced. Day one includes a meeting of the Organics SIG, complete with a visit to the Deerdykes IVC plant, and day two is the full members' meeting.
Network on the Lookout for New Members

At what is an increasingly exciting and opportunistic time in the sphere of recycling, the Network continues to position itself as a leading forum for recyclables market development. Covering the whole of the UK, the Network currently has 15 member organisations that benefit from the information exchange and partnership development initiated by the Network.

Region Set for Resource Efficient Future
24/07/2008An investment of almost £10 million from Yorkshire Forward and the European Regional Development Fund will help regional businesses to improve competitiveness by adopting more efficient use of resources over the next three years.
Over the next three years Resource Efficiency Yorkshire, REY, will deliver the programme of work with support from regional and national partners. It will enable regional businesses to realise the financial and competitive benefits of improved resource efficiency.

RNUK at TCA Event
28/03/2008Ben Dyson, Chair of our Organics Special Interest Group, gave a presentation at the recent Composting Association organised 'Funding for Composting/Waste Facilities' Conference at Melton Mowbray. WRAP Launches LCV Retread Campaign
01/02/2008WRAP has now launched its campaign to increase the use of retread tyres on light commercial vehicles (LCVs). The campaign will focus on improving confidence levels in retread tyres by challenging the misconceptions that potential users often have.
Enviros scoops Composting Association Award for Innovation
17/01/2008On 5 December at the Annual Composting Association Awards, Enviros picked up the prize for Innovation in Composting Technology for research into compost use in agriculture.
