ReMaDe South East creates new markets and secondary uses for recycled materials. The organisation helps businesses and local authorities reduce waste into landfill, find investment for reprocessing and recycling infrastructure.

Staff and associates work with new and existing businesses and Local Authorities to encourage the use of recycled materials as cost effective alternatives to virgin materials..

Market development activities

ReMaDe South East achieves its objectives by:
• working with the region’s businesses and local authorities;
• setting up feasibility studies, running trials and helping provide pump priming finance for agreed projects that are sustainable and focused on reducing waste into landfill;
• disseminating best practices in the recycling and sustainability fields and helping companies based in the region to reduce costs.
