Recyclable Market Development (ReMaDe) Essex was set up in 2000 to create new markets and secondary uses for recycled materials. Initially set up as a countywide initiative, ReMaDe Essex is now Working with UK CEED to deliver Remade East to the whole of the Eastern Region. This project will help both businesses and local authorities make best use of materials collected and diverted from waste that would otherwise have gone to landfill.
