Peter Scholes - Treasurer, Secretary & Steering Group Member

Peter is currently Managing Director of Urban Mines. He is a Cambridge Natural Sciences Masters graduate who has held a number of senior and Board positions within the UK and European chemical and related industries. Peter is responsible for the Operational aspects of Urban Mines, ensuring projects are delivered to time and budget, while also working outside the company networking and seeking out new opportunities.

Working initially in pharmaceutical R&D and manufacturing, he moved into the commercial mainstream, building new businesses, growing existing businesses, and turning around ailing operations within the chemical, pharmaceutical, bio technical and engineering industries.

Peter joined Urban Mines in 2002 to push forward the Staffordshire and Birmingham SGP projects. Peter has since been involved in delivering projects to Public and Private sector clients, whilst helping to move forward some of Urban Mine's key initiatives.

Peter is an Associate Member of the CIWM, on the Advisory Board of the Resource Recovery Forum, the Scientific & Technical Advisory Committee of the Integrated Pollution Management KTN (IPM-Net).

Peter is Company Secretary and Director of ReMaDe Network UK Ltd, the company arm of the ReMaDe Network.
