Our aims and objectives

The Remade Network UK is a network of organisations and programmes involved with developing markets for recyclates.

We aim to:

  • share best practice and support members in the delivery of market development for recycled materials in the UK
  • maximise the effectiveness of member organisations
  • promote waste as a resource through effective market development

To achieve our aims we will:

    • Foster co-operation with bodies outside the Network such as Government Departments, Regional Development Agencies and Regional Assemblies in England, and the Devolved Administrations
    • Encourage the strategic integration of waste solutions across the UK
    • Encourage co-operation and the co-ordination of activities within RNUK
    • Actively share information, promote good practice in project delivery (including monitoring and evaluation), develop partnerships, share information on funding sources and encourage joint working between members and quality within the Network
    • Seek opportunities for the continuing professional development of people employed in the sector, through network meetings, workshops and other initiatives.
